Data Sources Disclosure
GovProcure aggregates data from four official U.S. federal government databases. All underlying data is publicly available and owned by the U.S. government:
- Grants.gov —
https://grants.gov— Federal grants opportunities from all federal agencies - SAM.gov —
https://sam.gov— Federal contract opportunities, vendor registrations, and procurement data - USASpending.gov —
https://usaspending.gov— Federal spending and contract award data - IRS Business Master File —
https://www.irs.gov/charities-non-profits/form-990-series-downloads— Nonprofit organization financial data from Form 990 filings
Important: GovProcure is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any U.S. federal agency, including the General Services Administration (GSA), Small Business Administration (SBA), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Treasury, or the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). We are an independent commercial service that provides tools and analysis to help users navigate federal procurement data.
Data Lag Disclosure
Federal databases are updated on varying schedules. Be aware of potential delays when relying on our data:
- Grants.gov: Updated within 24 hours of official posting
- SAM.gov: Updated within 24 hours of posting; historical data may include archived opportunities
- USASpending.gov: Typically updated 24–72 hours after contract award; some data may lag by several days
- IRS Business Master File: Reflects the most recent Form 990 filings received by the IRS. Nonprofit financial status and information may lag actual organizational status by 12–18 months
Critical: Always verify all information directly with the relevant federal agency or official source before taking action on any grant, contract, or procurement opportunity. Data lag, corrections, and amendments occur regularly, and this service provides informational research tools only.

If a weekly, monthly, or custom subscription report contains a factual error caused by GovProcure's data processing, analysis, or calculation (not caused by federal data lag or source data inaccuracy), GovProcure may, at its sole discretion, issue account credits or a one-time credit toward a future purchase. Refunds are not guaranteed and are not automatic.
To report a potential error, please contact us via our contact form and provide detailed documentation of the discrepancy. We will investigate the issue and determine whether credits are warranted. Data lag discrepancies and source data corrections are not eligible for credits.
